Ak prilietate do Frankfurtu linkou ČSA /cez Prahu/, po prílete do Frankfurtu nad Mohanom si vyzdvihnite batožinu a pustite sa k východu. Autobus do Darmstadt stojí na ceste pred letiskom na pravej strane od východu, tam kde je stĺp s označením "D". Autobus je označený ako AirLiner. Nenechajte sa pomýliť, tabuľka AirLiner Darmstadt je aj na ľavej strane od východu, na stĺpe označenom ako "D-E" ale tam už autobus nestojí. A nepýtajte sa na ten bus tetušky na informáciách pretože tá vás neomylne nasmeruje práve na to staré miesto a ešte vám odprisahá, že ten autobus odtiaľ určite odchádza. Neverte jej ani nos medzi očami ! Takže von z budovy, vpravo, prejdite okolo prvej zastávky asi 20 krokov a ste na tej správnej zastávke.
Ak prilietate linkou spoločnosti Austrian /cez Viedeň/, po vystúpení z lietadla na Frankfurtskom letisku je potrebné si vyzdvihnúť batožinu, je potrebné ísťdlhočiznou chodbou a nasledovať tabuľu BAGGAGE CLAIM. Je fakt dlhá až sa zdá, že idete stále dookola. Po vyzdvihnutí batožiny vyjdite von a prejdite cez cestu smerom k MCDonaldu. Tam si vyhľadajte nástupište č. 14. Odtiaľ ide autobus ešte na jednu zastávku na letisku a potom rovno do Darmstadtu na hlavnú stanicu.
Autobus chodí dosť často (cestovný poriadok si stiahnite tu). Jedna cesta stojí 7,10 EUR a lístok sa kupuje u vodiča. Samotná cesta do Darmstadt trvá asi 25 minút. Konečná zastávka je na hlavnej železničnej stanici (ZOB). Odtiaľ je do hotela asi kilometer a pol. Ak by ste to chceli prejsť peši aj s batožinou, neskúšajte to. Na mape sa to nezdá byť ďaleko ale blízko to rozhodne nie je.
Radšej choďte autobusom. Autobus s označením "R" stojí pred stanicou na zastávke číslo 4. Zo stanice sú to štyri zastávky, je potrebné vystúpiť na Otto-Rohm Strasse.
Alebo si vezmite taxi. Taxi z hlavnej stanice k hotelu Contel stojí cca 7 az 8 Euro, podľa toho aká je premávka. Je to myslím v pohode, ak si máte predstaviť niesť batožinu pešo alebo ak nechcete čakať na MHD. /© Jaro/
Po príchode choďte najskôr do hotela Contel kde sa na recepcii zaregistrujete a dostanete kľúče od apartmánov. Je pravdepodobné, že po vás budú chcieť aby ste ubytovanie zaplatili vopred a v hotovosti ako sa to stalo nám a aj kolegom pred nami. V takom prípade im len vysvetlite, že to platí zamestnávateľ a upozornite vašu kontaktnú osobu aby to dala do poriadku.
Keď prídete do budovy T-Systems po prvý krát, musíte si nechať zavolať kontaktnú osobu, ktorá vás príde na vrátnicu vyzdvihnúť. Dajú vám vyplniť zopár údajov na kartičku pre návštevníka. Čím skôr sa snažte dohodnúť s vašou kontaktnou osobou aby vám vybavila čipovú kartu pretože bez nej sa v budove nepohnete. Najskôr sa všetci budú tváriť, že to nie je potrebné ale keď ich furt budete otravovať, že vám majú prísť otvoriť tie či oné dvere, oni pochopia a karty vám dajú vybaviť.
